摘要 | Background/Aim: The notion of fostering students physical literacy (PL) has found a place in various sports and education policy reforms. The implementation of PL in physical education has garnered attention, particularly among Taiwanese education scholars, who emphasize the development of literacy-focused curricula and teaching methodologies, along with a comprehensive grasp of core concepts. Consequently, when the level of PL among physical education students is low, it may adversely impact their overall learning effectiveness. Thus, we posit that within the movement learning process, the incorporation of mindfulness skills might enhance the individual mindfulness state during physical activity (Chuang and Wang, 2023). This study aim elucidates to the pivotal factors influencing PL within the motor skills learning process of students. Furthermore, it seeks to integrate the intrinsic value of mindfulness experiences in the practical application of physical education courses. Ultimately, this research aims to broaden the academic understanding of PL and mindfulness in the context of physical activities. Methods: In this study, a pre-experimental design (PED) method was employed as a preliminary step, followed by a one-group pre- and post-test design specifically tailored for Taekwondo physical education classes. The research instruments utilized in this study include the Physical Fitness Inventory, Self-Efficacy Inventory, Skills Performance Inventory, Physical Activity Positive Mindfulness Scale, Learning Effectiveness Scale, and Physical Education Learning Experience. Results:The objective of this project is to investigate the influence of mindfulness experiential teaching on physical fitness and assess the advantages of incorporating this teaching approach into Taekwondo physical education classes. The study aims to comprehend the moderating impact of mindfulness on physical fitness, self-efficacy, and skill performance. Furthermore, it seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness experiential teaching into Taekwondo physical education classes. Conclusions: The anticipated outcomes of this study aim to bring clarity to the essential factors influencing physical literacy within the motor skill learning process of students. Additionally, the study seeks to contribute to the theoretical knowledge base surrounding physical literacy and mindfulness in the context of physical activities. Furthermore, it aspires to extend the value of mindfulness experiences into the realm of physical education courses. Ultimately, the study is expected to furnish educators with valuable guidelines for mindfulness experiences in future physical education-related courses. |
