摘要 | The ARTEMIS (Acceleration, Reconnection, Turbulence, and Electrodynamics of the Moon’s Interaction with the Sun) mission is a mission to explore plasma properties near the lunar orbit since 2012. The mission carries Electrostatic Analyzer (ESA) and Solid State Telescopes (SST), which can measure protons and electrons with energies from about a few eV to MeV. Since the sun can emit energetic protons during a solar proton event period and these protons have been found to arrive and affect Earth’s magnetosphere, we adopt observations of ESA and SST from ARTEMIS mission to explore proton fluxes at Lunar orbit during solar proton event periods. Events with intensities > 100 pfu (particle flux unit) from 2013 to 2017 are investigated. We found out the measured intensities of proton fluxes at lunar orbit can be related to the occurrence of solar proton events. |
